Over the years the department has grown to 12 stations handling over 24,000 calls per year. The past few years, call volume has increased 30% to 35% a year, challenging the department to keep up with the tremendous population growth in the County. To learn more about how the department is dealing with this growth, please read our information on employment, including what it's like to work here, and our information on training, including courses for all first responders. Williamson County EMS charges fees for services. Please read our information on billing to learn more about our philosophy in setting fees, billing procedures, and charges.
